The Fort Worth Star Telegram is reporting that TCU has selected Jeremiah Donati as the new Director of Intercollegiate Athletics, replacing Chris Del Conte. An official press conference has been scheduled for Monday afternoon at 2 p.m., where Chancellor Victor Boschini is expected to make a formal announcement.
Donati was a name that surfaced almost immediately to be interim AD or the full time replacement, once Del Conte had announced his departure to take the same job at the University of Texas.
Hearing that Jeremiah Donati will be the interim AD for TCU. Working to confirm.

Donati came to TCU in 2011, as the Executive Director of the TCU Frog Club. In 2013, he was made the Associate Athletic Director and Associate Vice Chancellor for Athletic Development.
Most recently, in 2016, Donati had been tabbed as the Deputy Athletic Director, making him essentially second-in-command under Del Conte.
Donati has been integral in fundraising for major projects, most recently for the east side renovations to Amon G. Carter Stadium. He was also a key player in fundraising for past projects related to Amon G. Carter, Schollmaier Arena, and Lupton Stadium.
This is a great hire for the university. Donati knows the culture, the department, and has the requisite experience TCU needs to keep their athletic programs heading in the right direction.
