TCU is adding plenty of speed in the class of 2018, and WR Taye Barber is no exception. The 3-star prospect out of Cypress near Houston stands just 5’9” and weighs just 185 pounds, but he has some serious wheels and will remind Frog fans of another offensive weapon with similar measurables in junior KaVontae Turpin.
Barber made it official this morning in a ceremony at his high school, taking advantage of the first day of the Early Signing Period.

He chose the Frogs over 27 other offers, including Clemson, Arizona, Houston, Stanford, Texas Tech, and West Virginia, making his pledge over the summer. Barber had over 1,000 yards on the ground and through the air as a senior and has scored 22 touchdowns in his career.
Welcome to the Frog Fam, Taye!
