The Frogs did it again, with another comeback win in the Alamo Bowl. Desmon White was a huge part of that, scoring a touchdown three different ways: passing, receiving, and on a punt return.

“I was a former quarterback, so he knows I can throw,” White said of TCU co-offensive coordinator Sonny Cumbie. “Coach Cumbie does a great job of utilizing my abilities. I played receiver for four years. I just tried to come out and play my best game for the last time in a TCU uniform.”

TCU beat Stanford 39-37 in a thriller of an Alamo Bowl on Thursday night after trailing by as many as 18 points and never leading until the fourth quarter.

Gary Patterson had a simple message for the Frogs at halftime. It worked.

"Keep playing," a hoarse TCU coach Gary Patterson told ESPN on the field after the game. "That's what I told them at halftime."

Kenny Hill amassed 401 yards and four total touchdowns as he led TCU to a comeback victory.

Cole Bunce’s 33-yard field goal with just over 3 minutes to play won it for the Horned Frogs (11-3), who trailed 21-3 before storming back behind big plays from Hill and a 76-yard punt return from Desmon White. TCU rallied from 31 down in to beat Oregon in the 2015 Alamo Bowl.

Kenny Hill’s TCU legacy will probably just be a picture of a roller coaster, but he did a lot of good, both for himself and for TCU, duirng his time in purple.

By the end of the night, he did all of the things that made him a prospect who once ranked higher than the No. 1 overall pick of the 2016 NFL Draft, and the reason TCU rallied for another Alamo Bowl win.
