TCU’s class is headlined by quarterback Justin Rogers, a Louisiana native who has constantly been hearing from LSU, but has remained a loyal Frog commit. Rogers holds over 25 offers from a variety of big name schools, including LSU, Georgia, Texas, Miami, and Tennessee.

Alongside Rogers atop the class are wide receiver Tevailance Hunt, from Texarkana, and safety Atanza Vongor, from Grand Prairie, are big names Frog fans need to know. While the top of the class is absolutely legit, the depth is what makes the #CarterBoys18 class one of the best in TCU history.

Guys like Ben Wilson, Bryson Jackson, Esteban Avila, Trevon Moehrig-Woodard, and Taye Barber all have a 4-star rating from at least one recruiting service, making them high-end composite 3-star recruits. Wilson is a hard hitter, Jackson is a two-sport athlete (baseball) and early enrollee, Moehrig-Woodard is a tall, rangy corner, and Barber could very well be the next KaVontae Turpin.

It’s also important to note the size of some of these guys. TCU has generally had smaller-body guys playing cornerback and safety, but in this class alone TCU has three defensive back recruits, including two cornerbacks, standing at at least 6-1 in height.

The Frogs also have two big (literally) JUCO commits in offensive tackle Anthony McKinney and tight end Pro Wells. Both are top-5 recruits at their position among the JUCO ranks, and both add a bit of depth to units that are going to be depleted following the 2017 season.

TCU has about five more spots to fill in this class, which the coaching staff will do in the coming weeks/months, but as it stands, this is a fantastic recruiting class for the Horned Frogs.
