TCU 2017 NFL draft profiles: OT Aviante Collins | Sports Day

One of the more frustrating prospects to come through TCU, Collins has all the tools but they never quite translated to the field in full. It will be interesting to see if it all comes together for him at the next level.

Lance Zierlein wrote in his scouting report of Collins on NFL.com that “the more you watch of Collins, the more you like," noting that you immediately notice his athleticism. It's his toughness and determination though that will “win you over.”

Catching up with 2018 TCU Basketball commit Kendric Davis | Yahoo Sports

Jamie Dixon offered Davis when he was an undersized PG playing big varsity moments for a strong Houston program, and he has only improved since. Sounds like he will bring talent, toughness, and trash-talking to Funky Town in 2018.

"What makes my game so unique is I talk trash on the court, on twitter, anywhere and back it up. I push the ball, I'm a pass first point guard and I'm fun to play with. I get everybody involved. I'm a leader. It's easy to play off I can get 15 assists and I don't worry about scoring until clutch time. I also play hard on Offense and Defense and just a great teammate. Also I'm just a dog and a winner."

Central swimmer Brewer signs D-1 deal with TCU | Standard Times

It’s not just football and basketball fulfilling their dreams with big-time scholarships to TCU.

"I really had TCU on my radar since the beginning of the season," Brewer said. "I went there and was immediately in love with the people and the swimming and the engineering program there.

"I hung up two posters in my room the day after I got back. It feels like a dream to me. I couldn't think of any better outcome."
