TCU pitchers prepare to go 4-for-4 in home NCAA regionals | Fort Worth Star Telegram
Brian Howard and Mitchell Traver are dressing out for their fourth consecutive home regional. It’s a feat that’s insanely rare. Both pitchers have turned down the MLB in returning for their senior season.
Both pitchers turned down professional baseball a year ago, returning for their senior seasons to help the Horned Frogs in another bid for a national championship. Traver is scheduled to start Friday night against Central Connecticut State.

The Virginia Cavaliers blog Streaking the Lawn gives their readers a preview of TCU.
They have the #7 overall RPI and have been stellar at home, compiling a 23-4 record. While Virginia’s record on the road obviously is not as good, the Hoos were 11-7 away from Charlottesville and went 6-7 against the Top 25 RPI teams on their schedule. TCU was 11-9 against that part of their schedule.

Former TCU running back Kenneth Davis is on the ballot for the first time! He finished fifth in the Heisman voting in 1984.
Davis, who rushed for 2,994 yards and 24 touchdowns in his TCU career, played nine seasons in the NFL and was part of four Super Bowl teams with the Buffalo Bills.
