JUCO OT Recruit Anthony McKinney Commits to TCU

The gargantuan offensive tackle is a great pickup for the Frogs.

TCU landed a huge offensive lineman for the class of 2018 on Thursday night when JUCO OT Anthony McKinney pledged to the Frogs.

McKinney selected TCU over Oklahoma, Georgia, Oregon, Michigan State, and Louisville, and is the fourth offensive lineman recruit for the #CarterBoys18. Rated as a high 3-star recruit, McKinney is the No. 3 OT at the JUCO level for this recruiting cycle, and the No. 11 JUCO player overall.

Of course, McKinney already had a connection to TCU prior to committing. His former teammate at Iowa Western C.C. is former No. 1 JUCO WR recruit, and current Horned Frog Taj Williams.

Standing at 6-foot-8 and 330 pounds, McKinney has a chance to make an impact at tackle right away when he gets on campus, as TCU sees a handful of offensive linemen graduating after the 2017 season.

McKinney is the 13th commit for TCU’s class of 2018. Welcome to the Frog Fam!
