McKinney selected TCU over Oklahoma, Georgia, Oregon, Michigan State, and Louisville, and is the fourth offensive lineman recruit for the #CarterBoys18. Rated as a high 3-star recruit, McKinney is the No. 3 OT at the JUCO level for this recruiting cycle, and the No. 11 JUCO player overall.
Of course, McKinney already had a connection to TCU prior to committing. His former teammate at Iowa Western C.C. is former No. 1 JUCO WR recruit, and current Horned Frog Taj Williams.
Standing at 6-foot-8 and 330 pounds, McKinney has a chance to make an impact at tackle right away when he gets on campus, as TCU sees a handful of offensive linemen graduating after the 2017 season.
McKinney is the 13th commit for TCU’s class of 2018. Welcome to the Frog Fam!
