The most anticipated season in recent TCU Basketball history kicks off soon, and the anticipation mounts with Thursday’s release of the Big 12 Conference schedule.

In addition to their preseason schedule, the Frogs will play 18 Big 12 Conference games, playing a home and home with each team.

The Frogs will start the conference season at home, hosting the Oklahoma Sooners at Schollmaier Arena on December 30th. Four of the next six contests are on the road, starting with a tough road test in Waco before returning home to take on Kansas on January 6th. Both games will be featured on ESPN platforms.

Also in January is the much-anticipated matchup on Big Monday with West Virginia, the Big Monday game that will be featured on ESPN, January 22nd at 8:00pm.

“Big Monday has been the main showcase for college basketball for as long as I’ve been a head coach,” said TCU head coach Jamie Dixon. “In other leagues I’ve been in, the first thing you looked for when the conference schedule came out was if you had a Big Monday home game.”

After a tough start on the road, the Frogs will play three of their final five games at home, including tilts against Oklahoma State, Baylor, and Kansas State. They’ll finish the regular season with the Big 12 Tournament in Kansas City, at the Sprint Center on March 7-10th.
