Hunt, who had just decommitted from Kansas on Monday, saw the Frogs jump to the front of the line for his services after he received an offer in late July. Hunt had been impressive at TCU’s last camp of the summer, which earned him the offer, and he wasted little time in jumping on board.
Hunt is a seriously impressive receiver, standing at 6-1, 182, with great hands and good speed. He seems to be a bit underrated heading into his senior year of high school, but that could change quickly with a big season for Texas High in Texarkana.
Beyond TCU and Kansas, Hunt also holds offers from Oklahoma State, Iowa State, Colorado State, and a handful of other schools.
Hunt is rated as the No. 94 player in the state of Texas, and the No. 114 receiver in the class. He becomes the fourth wide receiver in TCU’s recruiting class, along with John Stephens Jr., Taye Barber, and Chase Van Wagoner. With good size and excellent speed, he is another great addition to the class of 2018, and a receiving corp set to graduate 16 players over the next two years, including nine after this season.
You can watch him in action below, and be sure to give Tevailance a big welcome to the #FrogFam!
