Unranked in the preseason, the TCU Horned Frogs are making a push for the top ten with a massive conference clash looming in Stillwater Saturday. In Sunday’s poll release, the Frogs find themselves at #16 in the AP and #15 in the coaches poll - having debuted in the latter just a week prior.

There are just three teams Big 12 teams ranked after week three, as Oklahoma fell from #2 to #3 in both polls, and Oklahoma State rose to 6th in the AP and 7th in the coaches. Kansas State, after falling in heartbreaking fashion in Nashville dropped out, while Texas blew a golden opportunity to be BACK (again) in losing at USC in Double OT. 2-1 West Virginia, whose only loss is to #13 Virginia Tech by a single score, remains on the outside looking in, but is on the very edge of the top 25. For the first time, 2-0 Texas Tech makes the receiving votes category as well.
TCU and Oklahoma State now face off in a top 16 matchup Saturday afternoon, and this is your reminder that College Game Day chose Times Square over a massive early-season Big 12 showdown in Stillwater. Also, this:

Regardless, the Frogs are in a perfect position to leap into the top ten if they can stun the Pokes on the road, or remain in the rankings should they fall in a well-played game. For now, #EyesUpKeepClimbing - and just win, baby.
