College Football Saturday: Week 2 Open Thread

The college football season rolls on into Week 2 with some major matchups across the nation, especially for some Big 12 teams.

Other than the obvious game we’ll all be watching, here are some to keep an eye on throughout the day:

1. Iowa @ Iowa State (11:00am, ESPN2) - Not the Big 12-Big Ten matchup of the day, but still an opportunity for the Big 12 to get an important win.
2. #13 Auburn @ #3 Clemson (6:00pm, ESPN)
3. North Texas @ SMU (6:00pm, ESPN3) - Who’s the next best team in the metroplex?
4. #5 Oklahoma @ #2 Ohio State (6:30pm, ABC) - Can the Sooners avenge their embarrassing loss in Norman last year and boost the conference’s image?
5. #14 Stanford @ #6 USC (7:30pm, FOX)
