Raegan Pebley’s team entered the rankings just one week ago at #24 after knocking off Texas at home and WVU on the road. Those wins followed a victory over Texas Tech, and were followed by knocking off Kansas and Kansas State before handing the Sooners their first L against TCU in four years. The six consecutive victories represent TCU’s longest win streak since 2010-2011, a season in which the Frogs fell in the MWC Championship game to Wyoming. This year, the goal will be March Madness, and getting the program’s first Big Dance bid since 2010.
The Frogs travel to Ames, Iowa tomorrow evening to take on the Cyclones, who are 1-3 in their last four conference games and 3-7 in the Big 12 this season. They have lost four straight at home, but do have a recent victory over a then #19 Oklahoma State squad.
