For the second year in the row, TCU Basketball will show out for the fans prior to their season opener, holding the Frog Army Scrimmage this Friday evening. The event will feature not only an intra-squad scrimmage, but also a slam dunk contest, three point shootout, and a half court shot - with a cash prize on the line.

The event will be held this Friday, November 2nd in Schollmaier Arena, with the festivities set to tip off at 5:00pm. Doors open at 4:00, and it is free for anyone to attend.

The highlight of the event is the annual half court shot competition, where three students will get the opportunity to have a TCU Basketball player take a half court shot for them, with $1000 out of the checkbook of head coach Jamie Dixon on the line.

At the end of the evening, students will have a chance to#TacoTuesday a Friday, enjoying some tacos of the arena floor with members of the team.

The No. 20 Horned Frogs open the season against CSU Bakersfield on Nov. 7 at 8 p.m. Season tickets are sold out for the season, but non-conference single-game tickets go on sale Nov. 3.
