TCU lost one of it’s returning starters over the fall, as second baseman Coby Boulware has transferred to Arkansas.
TRANSFER NEWS: Coby Boulware, who was an exciting young player at @TCU_Baseball last season, left the program following fall workouts and is headed to @RazorbackBSB. Will have to sit out for 2019, but neat player for 2020. #TCU #WPS

Boulware, a sophomore, started 54 games for TCU as a true freshman, and exceeded expectations as one of the better bats in the lineup. He hit .278 for the season and led the team with 24 stolen bases.
Errors were an issue at times for Boulware, who committed six on the season, but that was an issue for the infield as a whole last season. Boulware’s six errors were third on the team behind shortstop Adam Oviedo (10) and third baseman Conner Shepherd (11).
The Frogs are looking to improve on what was a down season a year ago, when they snapped a four-year streak of making it to the College World Series. Not only did they miss out on the CWS, the Frogs didn’t go to the tournament at all.
