TCU is coming off a win on the football field, and now they’ve notched a win on the recruiting trail.
3-star wide receiver Blair Conwright committed to TCU on Monday morning, becoming the 16th commit for TCU’s 2019 class.
I have officially committed to TCU. Thank you for letting me be a part of the Horn Frog family!!! Now let’s win an outright district title. #CU @TCUFootball @CUNextLevel @8_parr pic.twitter.com/Ic48QEVVUS

Conwright has been racking up big numbers at Coronado, out in Lubbock, Texas. He’s already eclipsed the 1,000-yard receiving mark this season, on 76 receptions, with 20 touchdowns to boot. When combined with his stats from 2016 and 2017, Conwright has totaled 188 receptions for 3,207 yards and 49 touchdowns.
The 5-foot-11, 176 pound receiver is clearly great in the classroom, based on his offers list. Conwright holds an offer from Cornell, to go with offers from Air Force, Kansas, and SMU.
It’s a little odd that Conwright hasn’t gotten more attention, considering 247 Sports has him rated as the No. 76 player in the state of Texas. Now that TCU has offered, and currently has his commitment, he’ll probably start hearing from quite a few more schools.
