Way-too-early bracketology: Texas Tech up to No. 3 seed; TCU, Oklahoma, Houston on the rise | Sports Day

The Frogs are a 9-seed in Joe Lunardi’s newest projections on ESPN, facing Iowa in the first round.

While Big 12 heavyweight Kansas retained the No. 1 seed (Midwest), Texas Tech, Oklahoma and TCU all saw improvements in their seedings. The Red Raiders checked in as a projected No. 3 seed (East), the highest of any Texas Team, while the Sooners and Horned Frogs rose to No. 6 (South) and No. 9 (East) seeds, respectively. The Horned Frogs re-entered the bracket following their 35-point drubbing of USC on Friday in Los Angeles.
