He’s a Homegrown Horned Frog. S/O to @Nolimitdcol19 for signing with us! pic.twitter.com/d8tEIHbo5e
Collins is the No. 67 player in the state of Texas, and the No. 57 cornerback in this cycle, according to 247 Sports Composite Rankings. He also held offers from Kansas State, Illinois, Memphis, and SMU.
The Frogs are always on the lookout for fast cornerbacks, and Collins fits that mold. At 5-11, 170, Collins runs a 4.6-40 and has incredible lateral movement. He joins Millard Bradford, Deshawn McCuin, and Tony Wallace as the defensive backs in this class for the Horned Frogs. Athlete Dee Winters is expected to play on the defensive side of the ball as well, at safety.
In a day and age where most recruits seem to flip to a new school at least once or twice during the process, Collins’ loyalty to TCU stands out. It’s impressive for a kid to stay committed throughout the entire process. Frog Factor, anyone?
Welcome to the Frog Fam, Donavann!
