When Andrew Coker took a last-minute visit to Texas this past weekend, TCU fans held their collective breath. The big offensive tackle, rated as the No. 42 tackle in the country and the No. 69 player in Texas, was considered a gigantic piece to TCU’s recruiting class, and losing him would have been devastating.
Frog fans had nothing to worry about, though, as the Katy, Texas native signed with TCU in the end.

He’s a Frog. Always has been. Congrats to @ACoker2k19 on making it official! pic.twitter.com/41d54sANBV
Coker, committed to the Frogs since late May, held offers from Texas, Texas A&M, Georgia, Oklahoma, and Florida, among others.
Standing at 6-6, 310 pounds, Coker has the frame to compete for a starting spot right away, but could also have the benefit of redshirting. Lucas Niang, Austin Myers, and Anthony McKinney, the three main tackles for TCU this season, all return in 2019.
Coker is one of three offensive linemen for the Frogs in this class, joining fellow tackle Marcus Williams and guard Brannon Brown in the trenches.
Welcome to the Frog Fam, Andrew!
