Congrats to @dwintersdos on joining the #FrogFam! pic.twitter.com/Pdp0WXDQBW
Winters, standing at 6-1, 192 pounds, runs a 4.5-40 and benches over 300 pounds, according to his HUDL profile. Physically, he’s pretty much everything you hope for in a TCU safety.
Of course, TCU wasn’t the only one in pursuit of the Burton, Texas product. Winters also held offers from Arkansas, Arizona State, Northwestern, and Texas Tech, but he stayed true to the Frogs after committing back in late January.
Winters is rated as the No. 87 player in the state of Texas and the No. 39 athlete in the 2019 recruiting cycle.
Welcome to the Frog Fam, Dee!
