Listed as a linebacker on 247 Sports, Workman is expected to slide down to defensive end for TCU. He’s 6-3, 240, and he recorded 16.5 tackles for loss, and 11.5 sacks at Snow College in Utah this year. Workman adds immediate depth for the Frogs, who lose Ben Banogu and LJ Collier to graduation.
Workman was also getting interest from UCLA, and a few other west coast schools, but ultimately decided on TCU after a recent official visit.
Workman also has the benefit of having a fantastic football name, which will surely help him out in the long run. He’s already becoming a bit of an internet sensation, anyway.
