TCU is always in the market for more receivers, and they may have found an immediate contributor in JUCO transfer Mikel Barkley.

Barkley is rated as the No. 7 JUCO receiver, per 247 Sports, and has an elite first move off the line. He’s capable of begetting separation because of that, plus his incredible speed, and he has wonderful hands to boot.
The Frogs were in need of a No. 2 receiver to take pressure off Jalen Reagor, and Barkley may be just that. Of course, he won’t be the only candidate, as TCU has a wealth of young and talented, yet moderately unproven receivers on the roster.
This year at Palomar College, Barkley caught 25 passes for 583 yards and nine touchdowns. He’s the second receiver to sign with TCU today, joining Blair Conwright.
Welcome to the Frog Fam, Mikel!
