Frogs sign another Aledo stud, linebacker Wyatt Harris

The Aledo legacy was always going to be a Frog.

TCU added a kid with a familiar last name on Wednesday, when Wyatt Harris signed his NLI. Wyatt is the younger brother of offensive guard Wes Harris, who was a part of TCU’s 2017 signing class.

Harris is yet another Frog who will play for a Texas state championship this weekend, when Aledo faces off against Fort Bend Marshall. He’s also the second member of Aledo’s team to sign with the Frogs today, joining defensive end Colt Ellison.

Harris is rated as the No. 60 linebacker in this class, and the No. 116 player in the state of Texas for this cycle. He also held and offer from SMU, but was largely under-recruited. This is likely due to the fact that schools knew his brother was at TCU, and he committed to the Frogs all the way back in January.

With a slew of linebackers leaving TCU this year, it was important to bring a few in, and Harris, at 6-3, 218, fits that mold. He joins Zach Marcheselli as the two linebackers for this class.

Welcome, officially, to the Frog Fam, Wyatt!
