Moments to remember: five games that propelled TCU to the NCAA Tournament | Fort Worth Star Telegram

All 21 are of varying importance, but this is a good top five. I might have swapped the Iowa State win with the one over St. Bonaventure though. Here’s another big one for the Frogs:

vs. Nevada, Dec. 8

The Frogs improved to 10-0 in non-conference play with an 84-80 win against Nevada at Staples Center in Los Angeles. Jaylen Fisher led TCU with 20 points and Kenrich Williams added 16 points and 11 rebounds. TCU won two more games before losing its first game of the year, the Big 12 opener against Oklahoma. The Wolf Pack won the Mountain West regular-season title and opens as a No. 7 seed against No. 10 Texas.

TCU selected to WNIT; Plays at home Thursday | GoFrogs.com

TCU is in a tournament for the 15th time in 18 seasons, and they play host to Lamar this Thursday, at 6:30 pm. Get out to the Scholly to support the Frogs!

The winner of Thursday’s game between TCU and Lamar will take on the winner of Louisiana Tech and Missouri State who play on Thursday in Ruston, La. The date and location of that game will be determined at a later date.

TCU is one of three Big 12 teams participating in the WNIT, joining West Virginia and Kansas State. The Horned Frogs earned the league’s automatic berth by being the highest finishing team in the regular-season standings not selected into the NCAA Championships.

TCU’s Jared Janczak keeps rolling, earns Big 12 honors | Fort Worth Star Telegram

Janczak was named Big 12 Pitcher of the Week for his performance last Friday against USC, where he was absolutely dominant.

This is the third time the junior has earned the award and first for a TCU player this season. Janczak, who is 1-1 with a 2.08 ERA in four starts, allowed five base runners and never faced more than four batters in an inning. He struck out eight and walked none. USC reached second base just once against Janczak.
