The Rams have loved their TCU players this draft, as Howard is the second Frog taken, following teammate Joseph Noteboom.
Howard is the all-time leading tackler at TCU, recording 100+ tackles in three consecutive seasons for the Horned Frogs from his linebacker position. However, Howard has shown versatility and a willingness to play safety at the next level, as he worked out for pro teams this offseason.
Howard steps into a good situation in Los Angeles. The Rams have a lot of youth in their linebacker corps and in the secondary, and a versatile talent like Howard has a great chance at making the active roster when the season opens up.
Congrats, Travin!
