TCU’s game time against Ohio State this fall has just been announced.
Here’s the full press release from TCU.
TCU’s Sept. 15 football game versus Ohio State at AT&T Stadium in Arlington will have a 7 p.m. kickoff and be televised on ABC.
The Horned Frogs and Buckeyes will be meeting for the first time since 1973 and just the seventh time in their history.
The Ohio State contest is one of 10 games inside the state of Texas for TCU this season.
TCU will be playing at AT&T Stadium for the second straight season. The Horned Frogs faced Oklahoma in last year’s Big 12 Championship Game. It will be TCU’s fifth contest in AT&T Stadium in the last nine seasons.
As it says in the release, TCU’s game against the Buckeyes will be a night game, on ABC. It’s exactly the national presence TCU was hoping to have, when they agreed to move the game from a home and home to a one-off at AT&T Stadium.
TCU last played at AT&T Stadium last season, in the Big 12 Championship, where the Frogs lost to Oklahoma 41-17.
In all, TCU has a 2-2 record in Jerry World, with wins over Oregon State and BYU, and losses to LSU and Oklahoma.
