Brown is rated as the No. 33 player in the state of Texas, and the No. 253 player overall for the 2019 class, according to 247Sports.com’s composite rankings. The 6-1 athlete playes both cornerback and wide receiver at Newton, but is being recruited by TCU as a wide receiver. He selected TCU over Texas A&M, Arkansas, Baylor, and Oklahoma State.
The Frogs now have two receivers committed for the 2019 class, as Brown joins Kennedy Lewis at that position.
And it also helped that a teammate of his, Josh Foster, committed to the Frogs back on August 3rd. Another Newton player, running back Darwin Barlow, also committed to TCU on Thursday evening.
Brown’s size and versatility make him a deadly outside weapon, which fits perfectly into Sonny Cumbie’s offense.
Welcome to the Frog Fam, Tamauzia!
