The Frogs will get a primetime kick-off for the third time this season when they welcome the Iowa State Cyclones to Amon G. Carter in just under two weeks, as it was announced Monday that the game will be of the 6:00pm start time variety.

The game will be the first under the lights at The Carter in 2018, and the third time TCU Football will be featured on an ESPN property, as this one will be shown on either ESPN2 or ESPNU.

Both programs are coming off of a tightly contest week three loss - Iowa State gave Oklahoma all they could handle in Ames, while the Frogs nearly upset Ohio State. Leading up to the week five contest, TCU travels to Texas and Iowa State faces Akron.

The Cyclones beat TCU last season 14-7 on their home field, using a dominant defense to keep the Frogs’ offense out of the end zone. Zeb Nolan took over the reigns at QB for ISU, leading an offense that bounced back after scoring just three points against Iowa - the season opener after their week one game was cancelled - to drop 27 on the Sooners. For TCU, it will be their first game on their home field in four weeks, and precedes a bye week.

It should be a fun game between a pair of teams vying to make a run to the Big 12 Championship game. Be sure to get your tickets!
