The Frogs, who held serve at 16 after beating Southern heading into week 2, move up a spot after beating the Mustangs, making their week three game against #4 Ohio State a top fifteen matchup, which is just a little sexier with ESPN’s College Game Day in town and on campus. They are one of three Big 12 teams in the top 15, joining #14 WVU - who thrashed Youngstown State - and #4 Oklahoma, who jumped Wisconsin after jumping all over Chip Kelly and UCLA Saturday in Norman.
Alabama stays at #1 overall with 54 first place votes, while Clemson garner six to stay in second after staving off Texas A&M in College Station in somewhat controversial fashion. Georgia stays at three despite winning against a ranked South Carolina team in Columbia, and Auburn and Notre Dame stay at seven and eight respectively. Stanford moved up a spot after crushing USC to round out the top ten.
Oklahoma State makes their first appearance in the top 25, at 24, after receiving votes last week.
We will have more on the individual voting later this afternoon.
