The Horned Frogs and Longhorns will battle in Fort Worth under the light - of the afternoon sun - when they meet at Amon G Carter Stadium on Saturday, October 26th.

The Big 12 Conference announced a 2:30 p.m. kickoff for the game, which will be televised on FOX. It’s the second 2:30 kickoff of the season at home for the Frogs, who played SMU at that time as well last month. TCU’s only prime time kick-off was the season opener against Arkansas-Pine Bluff. That weekend’s evening tilt goes to… Texas Tech at Kansas? Seems odd. Though it is on FS1 while the Frogs and Horns get real Fox on the TV side. Thankfully, the forecast currently shows something in the sub-90° range, at least.

The Horned Frogs have defeated the Longhorns in four of the last five meetings and are 5-2 against Texas since beginning Big 12 play in 2012. TCU will try and bounce back from a loss at Iowa state when they take on Kansas State this weekend, while Texas looks to recover from dropping a one score contest to Oklahoma in the Red River Rivalry with the conference’s favorite cure all, hosting Kansas.

TCU is at Kansas State on Saturday for a 1:30 p.m. game on FSN.
