TCU Football is at the halfway point of their current campaign, but it’s never too early to look ahead to the next.
On Tuesday morning, TCU Athletics announced the Frogs’ 2020 schedule, one that features six home games and a pair of non-conference road trips.

The Frogs will open their season on the road, playing their Cheez-It Bowl opponent Cal in Berkeley on September 5th. Their only non-con home game of the season will be against Prairie View A&M the following Saturday. After their first and only bye week of the year, TCU will traverse the metroplex to take on the SMU Mustangs, as they look to take back the Iron Skillet in the two programs’ 100th meeting. That game will take place on September 26th.
The nine week, nine game, conference schedule opens with a home date with Oklahoma State, who comes to town on October 3rd. TCU gets West Virginia on the road on the tenth, before returning home to battle Kansas State. A road contest at Baylor on October 24th is followed by the Frogs’ only back to back home games of the season — they get Oklahoma on Halloween and Iowa State the first weekend in November. The Frogs play at Texas on November 14th and host Texas Tech the 21st, closing out the regular season at Kansas in Saturday, November 28th.
That four game stretch between Baylor and Texas will certainly show Frog fans something.
The Big 12 Championship game will be played on Saturday, December 5th.
As it currently stands (which is all subject to change), the Frogs will play only on Saturdays next fall.
TCU is at home this Saturday, facing Texas with a scheduled 2:30pm kickoff.
