Chuba Hubbard is really good.

Oklahoma State’s star running back went over the 100 yard mark for the seventh time in eight games, eclipsing 1,300 on the season in the process. His effort spurred Oklahoma State to a 34-27 win over #23 Iowa State in Ames Saturday.

The combination of Hubbard, Spencer Sanders, and a home field advantage have led the the Pokes being favored by 5 12 over TCU when the two programs meet in Stillwater Saturday.

TCU opened as a 1.5 point favorite over Texas last week, but dominated on their way to a ten point win. Okie State was an underdog to the Cyclones, but never trailed on their way to the touchdown W.

The five and a half point spread feels a little strong for OSU, who are 2-3 in conference play behind the absolute dominance of Hubbard and inconsistency of the redshirt freshman QB Sanders. The defense has been up and down all season as well, something that Frog fans can certainly relate to. It should be a fun game at Boone Pickens Stadium.

Last weekend saw every ranked team in the Big 12 lose, generally as favorites — TCU fans will hope that trend continues when the Frogs hit the road for a 2:30 tip with the Cowboys.
