FanPulse Week 11: Purple is the new Bama

LSU went into Tuscaloosa and came out a winner, and that has voters feeling good.

Don’t worry, the fans have an SEC bias, too.

After the game of the century (again), college football fans from across the SB Nation network found reason to keep one-loss Alabama in the top four, despite the Tide looking overmatched for most of their home contest with the Tigers.

The eye ball test is reading its ugly head once again, as undefeated Baylor and Minnesota remain behind a pair of one-loss programs and a Clemson team that has looked generally average to this point, coming in at sixth and seventh, respectively. The Bears played another close contest — this time on the road at TCU — while Minnesota looked like the much better team on the field in their upending of Penn State.

Oklahoma fell behind BU ahead of their week 12 GameDay matchup in Waco, and represent the Big 12’s only other rated program. SMU was the third-highest Group of Five team, behind Memphis and Cincinnati.

TCU fans are concerned about the direction of the program once again, showing a slight downtick from last week’s confidence poll:

Your Week 11 Heisman favorite remains Joe Burrows by a mile, with Sooners’ QB Jalen Hurts barely edging out Ohio State’s Justin Fields for second.
