The TCU men have their second game of the season on Tuesday night, as they host Louisiana-Lafayette.

The Ragin’ Cajuns are 2-0 on the season with four players averaging double-digit points per contest. Junior Jalen Johnson leads the way with 21.5 points per game on 44.8% shooting from the floor, including 40% from three point range. He also has six blocks through two games.

Junior guard Cedric Russell is another guy to keep an eye on, as the second leading scorer and assist man for the Cajuns.

Meanwhile, TCU sits at 1-0 after a season-opening win over Southwestern. Desmond Bane led the way for the Frogs with 26 points, while Kevin Samuel added 17 points and 12 rebounds.

The Cajuns are just two years removed from an NIT appearance, and lost in last season’s Sun Belt Conference championship game, keeping them out of any tournament appearances.

While TCU sits at 1-0, it’s after an inconsistent game against a D3 opponent, so Tuesday’s matchup will test the Frogs more than game 1. The Frogs need to focus on rebounding, ball movement, and perimeter defense, three pieces of their game that struggled at times last Thursday.

The game is televised on Fox Sports Southwest if you’d like to tune in and follow along.
