TCU Basketball got some good news Monday afternoon, when it was announced that Ohio State transfer Jaedon LeDee would be immediately eligible for the Frogs.
LeDee, a 6’9” forward who played his high school ball at The Kinkaid School in Houston, spent his first collegiate season at Ohio State, appearing in 26 games. He left Columbus after averaging 3.0 points and 1.7 rebounds per game in just under seven minutes per contest to return closer to home, signing with the Frogs this past May. He was a double double machine in high school, putting up 27 and 15 on his way to earning four star status and 23 offers.
Adding LeDee to the fold is huge for the Frogs, who are a little short in the size department. The sophomore can play both forward positions and should be an effective rebounder for TCU from either. He is expected to be suited up for tonight’s matchup with Air Force, tipping off at Schollmaier Arena at 8:00pm.
