The Frogs are looking to bolster their wide receiving corps in this class, and Henderson three star Caleb Medford is another great fit. Medford made his commitment official Wednesday when he signed his Letter of Intent as part of the Early Signing Period.

The big-bodied wide receiver (6’2.5”, 190 pounds) has an exceptional catch radius and wins a lot of tough balls; Medford has great speed for his size and excels in playing in traffic on the field. In other words, he makes a lot of tough catches, something that should be music to Frog fans’ ears.
His measurables and his upside ensured he had plenty of suitors; Medford counted 20 offers from schools like Baylor, Boston College, Ole Miss, Purdue, and Virginia among his options. But, in a familiar refrain among recent TCU commits, Medford picked the place that felt most like home. “I feel the home environment and it is a very historical place. I love being there, I love what Coach P got going and how he keeps it real with you and the players made me feel at home. Our personalities are the same it makes me feel comfortable. Overall, I’m enthusiastic about TCU and all it offers two from the house; I can’t get enough of that.” It didn’t hurt that receivers coach Malcolm Kelly is a long time family friend of the Medfords and a guy Caleb has spent a lot of time around, either.
Medford can play both inside and out, and his versatility should give him a great shot to be an early contributor for the Frogs. You can check out his highlights below.
