The Frogs lost two recruits from their fold on the first day of the early signing period Wednesday, when two commits wound up signing elsewhere.
First, JUCO wide receiver Danny Gray flipped from TCU to cross-town rival SMU.

Gray is the #3 JUCO receiver for this class, with electric speed and great hands. He would have been a contributor in the purple and white, but now the Frogs will have to gameplan to stop him instead.
Meanwhile, athlete Jimmy Holiday had been listening to the SEC for a while, and he finally flipped and signed with Tennessee on Wednesday morning.

Holiday will have the chance to play quarterback at Tennessee, something that probably wasn’t going to happen for him if he stuck with the Frogs.
TCU didn’t want to lose either Gray or Holiday, but both will be playing their college football elsewhere.
You win some, you lose some. It’s possible that TCU gets a flip or two more before the day is through.
