The Frogs landed a new commit and signee on Wednesday, when Independence C.C. linebacker Jamoi Hodge joined the fold.

Hodge has been considered a TCU lean for a while now, but the Frogs faced competition for the linebacker from Louisville, SMU, Nebraska, and several others.
Hodge is rated as the #5 linebacker from the JUCO ranks for this class, and stands at 6-2, 225 pounds. Hodge will be a welcome sight in the linebacker room that has junior Garret Wallow with a bunch of sophomores and freshmen. Ben Wilson, LaKendric Van Zandt, Dee Winters and Wyatt Harris all gained valuable experience this season, but Gary Patterson can never have too many linebackers on this team.
Plus, Hodge fits the physical mold of a TCU LB, and has the skillset to play multiple positions, as Patterson likes his linebackers to be able to do.
Welcome to the Frog Fam, Jamoi!
