Easley, a native of Indianapolis, spent his freshman year at Tennessee-Chattanooga. A former four star recruit, the top 100 player in the class of 2018 averaged 14.2 points and 6.7 rebounds per game on his way to being named Southern Conference Freshman of the Year. Easley chose the Mocs out of 14 offers, including Nebraska, Purdue, Butler, and VCU - whom he initially committed to prior to Will Wade leaving for LSU. He entered the transfer portal in March looking for a bigger stage, and found potentially the perfect fit in TCU.
Easley joins recent signees Mickey Pearson and Keonte Kennedy, along with class of 2019 members PJ Fuller, Diante Smith, and Francisco Farabello. Both Kennedy and Easley will not be eligible next year per NCAA transfer rules.
