Baseball:
Frogs feel they must win Big 12 Tournament to keep postseason hopes alive | The Star-Telegram
Well, yeah.
“We’re going to have lights-out starting pitching,” Schlossnagle said.
Schlossnagle isn’t talking about just Lodolo, either. The Frogs need Charles King and Brandon Williamson to continue to deliver if they are going to make a run in the Big 12 tournament.
“I feel really confident,” Schlossnagle said. “The key is being able to get to them [in the bullpen]. Part of that is catching the baseball. We’re the worst fielding team in the Big 12, and there’s a lot of reasons for that. But we’ve shown the ability to play good defense.

Former TCU All-American signs two-year, $23 million extension | The Star-Telegram
Jerry Hughes got PAID.
Buffalo Bills defensive end and former TCU All-American Jerry Hughes is expected to sign a two-year, $23 million extension, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports.
Hughes is guaranteed $19.5 million, a source tells Schefter.
Hughes is preparing for his 10th season in the NFL after being drafted in the first round by the Colts in 2010. After three seasons in Indianapolis, Hughes was traded to the Bills. He had seven sacks, 13 tackles for a loss and 18 quarterback hits in 2018.
The timing of this is odd and TCU is contesting the claims. I guess we will find out.
TCU is contesting the grounds that waiver is supported on, according to sources.
The NCAA has yet to make a decision on the matter, but it is expected soon.
From Missouri’s perspective, an eligible Robinson would give the Tigers an experienced backup behind Clemson transfer Kelly Bryant this fall. Plus, if Robinson plays in four or fewer games, he’d remain eligible for a redshirt season in 2019.
The NCAA waiver for immediate eligibility is confidential and the specific nature of what Robinson’s claims pertain to is unknown as far as the alleged mistreatment at TCU.
