TCU Women’s Basketball will look quite a bit different in 2019-2020, as several key players have graduated out of the program. But with plenty of positive momentum on both the court and in recruiting, expectations are sky high in Fort Worth for next season.

Helping to build excitement will be the Horned Frogs’ welcoming in Auburn as part of the Big 12/SEC Challenge, the fourth time the program will have participated in the event. It will be their second time playing the Tigers and the first since 1994.

TCU will play Auburn on Saturday, December 7th at Schollmaier Arena. They beat another Alabama program, the Crimson Tide there two years ago as part of the Challenge, and upended Ole Miss on the road last season.

All ten Big 12 teams will participate in this event across four days, with Georgia playing at Baylor and Ole Miss traveling to Lubbock on Wednesday, December 4th, Iowa State playing Alabama in Tuscaloosa on Thursday, LSU playing at Oklahoma, Kansas State playing in Fayetteville, and Oklahoma State facing the Aggies in College Station on Saturday, and finishing with West Virginia at Mississippi State, Florida at Kansas, and Texas at Tennessee on Sunday.

TCU returns four players who started at least 22 games from a team that went 24-11 and advanced to the WNIT Semifinals. Auburn returns four starters as well after going 22-10 last season and making the NCAA Tournament for the third time in the last four years.
