Holiday, a three star recruit, played for Madison Central where he has racked up the accolades, including district MVP and first team All-State honors. The 6’, 185 pound prospect can REALLY fly, and thus was in high demand, choosing the Frogs out of 16 offers including Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Nebraska, and Tennessee.
A top 30 player in the state, Holiday is ranked as the #50 athlete in the country after compiling nearly 3,000 yards last season - passing for over 1,500 and adding another 1,400+ on the ground. He was responsible for 38 touchdowns as well. Holiday participated in the New Orleans Regional of The Opening as a receiver, where he clocked a 4.38 40.
The fourth receiver to commit in the class of 2020, Holiday joins juco stud Danny Gray (Blinn College) along with three stars Caleb Medford and Blake Nowell. The Frogs have a top 50-rated class overall but are only ranked seventh in the Big 12 - but that is mostly due to the small size of their class. TCU has only 11 commits for what is expected to be a small signing class, but is the only non-Texas or Oklahoma program to have multiple four stars in the coffers.
Check out his highlights below and welcome Jimmy “The Jet” Holiday to the Frog Fam!
