The Frogs’ conference opener will take place on September 28th, and it’s going to be a hot one, folks.

Our @Big12Conference season kicks off at 11:00am on 9/28 at The Carter. See you there! #GoFrogs pic.twitter.com/EJDPHr1jgH
To the surprise of absolutely no one, the Frogs and Jayhawks were given the 11:00am kick-off slot, despite the two teams combining to go 4-1 through the first three weeks of the season and each winning a road game over a Power Five opponent.
Kansas appears to be much improved under new head coach Les Miles, who has infused the program with new life - but didn’t change everything (they lost to Coastal Carolina after all). The Frogs are looking to go 3-0 on the year when they face off with crosstown rival SMU this weekend at 2:30pm at The Carter.
Wonder if Gary Patterson will ask Nick Saban to complain on his behalf about an 11:00 start time for a conference opponent? ;)
