The final road game of the season will be TCU Football’s first under the lights

Oh, come on.

Well, isn’t this ironic.

Yep, after a season of 11:00am kick offs with the occasional afternoon tilt sprinkled in, TCU Football finally gets a night game...

... and it’s at Kansas.

YAY.

The Horned Frogs have a bye week this weekend before heading up to Lawrence to take on the winless Jayhawks, who are scoring less than 14 points per game while allowing 50. TCU has won seven of the eight meetings between the two teams since joining the Big 12 in 2012 (may we someday forget the butt fumble game in 2018), but four of those wins have been by one score or less. Let’s hope that last Saturday in November does not bring more of the same.

The Jayhawks were 3-9 last season, the first under Les Miles, and have degraded in 2020. Losing Pooka Williams, who opted out for the remainder of the year, has not helped.

Here is to hoping the Horned Frogs can take advantage and get back in the win column in two weeks.
