TV: ESPN2
Radio: AM 570 KLIF
Notes:
- TCU is 5-8 at the T-Mobile Center, formally the Sprint Center, the regular home for the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship. The Frogs played in one of the final games of the shortened 2020 season with a first-round loss to Kansas State on March 11.
- Jamie Dixon is 8-1 at TCU in midseason tournaments. Last season’s first round loss to Clemson at the MGM Resorts Main Event is the only loss. The game in Las Vegas, Nev., was played at T-Mobile Arena.
- Under Dixon, TCU is 14-7 in neutral site games, including a 3-4 record at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City.
- Junior guard RJ Nembhard and junior center Kevin Samuel are TCU’s two returning starters from last season. Nembhard was unavailable in the team’s opening game. Samuel scored six points and grabbed 10 rebounds with three blocks. Samuel is seven blocks from becoming TCU’s all-time leader in blocked shots.
- TCU’s 11 underclassmen is the fourth most in the country and ties with Kansas State for the most in the Big 12 Conference. Among those underclassmen are sophomore guards Francisco Farabello and PJ Fuller, who started some games last season as true freshmen.
