TCU is adding a 10th regular season game, as they have come to terms with Louisiana Tech to play on December 12th at 6pm.
The Frogs lost their season-opener three times in 2020. TCU lost their road opener at California first, when the PAC-12 announced their season would be cancelled. Then TCU’s game against Arkansas Pine-Bluff was cancelled when the Big 12 said that teams would be allowed one out of conference game.
Lastly, the TCU-SMU game was postponed due to team issues with COVID back in September. Now, the Frogs finally have a 10th regular season game with the Bulldogs slated to come to town.
Louisiana Tech is also familiar with losing games this season. Their season-opener at Baylor was cancelled back in September, and they’ve missed their past four games due to postponements and cancellations.
Three of those four games were cancelled due to covid issues in the opposing program.
Louisiana Tech is 4-3 in the games they’ve played this season, with their last game being a win over UAB on October 31st.
Frog fans probably wanted to see this game scheduled with SMU, but there’s still a chance the Frogs and Mustangs face off in 2020.
