The Frogs are losing another player, as TCU junior offensive lineman Quazzel White has entered the transfer portal. He’s the sixth Horned Frog to enter the portal this season, and the first offensive lineman. He joins former Frogs Al’Dontre Davis, Dylan Thomas, Tony Wallace, Tevailance Hunt, and Eli Williams in the portal.
2017 3-star OL Quazzel White has entered the transfer portal after starting games at both guard and tackle during his time at #TCU @rivalsmike @RivalsWoodyhttps://t.co/0wjtCevyAu

After starting multiple games at left tackle in 2019, White opened the 2020 season as TCU’s starting right guard. He suffered an injury against Kansas State and hasn’t played since.
John Lanz has been starting in his place, although multiple linemen have rotated at guard for TCU this season. Wes Harris, TCU’s other starting guard to open the season, was lost for the season after the Oklahoma game, and it has been mix-and-match along the line ever since.
TCU’s offense has struggled to find consistency this season, and a large part of the blame has been placed at the feet of the offensive line. Losing White to the transfer portal certainly doesn’t help matters, and now we’ll have to see what the long-term solution is for TCU at guard.
TCU has two more games on the schedule this year, including this Saturday at 11am against Oklahoma State.
