It had been a tough stretch for TCU Basketball, who floundered through the meet of their schedule, losing winnable games home and away as the regular season wound down.
But all that changed Saturday.
Down two starters in Francisco Farabello and RJ Nembhard, the Horned Frogs shocked no,. 2 Baylor at Schollmaier Arena, arguably the best win of the Jamie Dixon era and one of the biggest upsets of the college basketball season. Watching senior Desmond Bane light it up in one of his final home games, while simultaneously passing the torch to freshman PJ Fuller — his heir apparent — was truly magical.
And, apparently, it gave Frog fans a ton of burgeoning confidence as well.

The 93% confidence rating is the highest mark since week four, and marks a nearly 40% increase from the previous count. It didn’t impact the Baylor fanbase much though, as Bear supporters are still 100% behind their program and Coach Scott Drew is still a leading candidate for Coach of the Year.
With one regular season game remaining and the Big 12 Tournament on deck, Jamie Dixon has a chance to continue to build positive momentum — hopefully for a postseason (likely NIT) run. Their next opportunity will be Saturday against Oklahoma, when TCU will celebrate Senior Night.
