And another one! Frogs add Oklahoma WR Chase Jackson

TCU Football coaches have been busy in quarantine.

It’s been a big few days on the recruiting front for the Horned Frogs, who got their second commitment of the weekend Sunday when 3* Oklahoma wide receiver Chase Jackson pledged to join #CarterBoys21.

The speedy 6’2 receiver is a bit of an unknown nationally — in fact, TCU was the first Power Five offer the Choctaw High School star receiver. But Doug Meacham liked him enough to offer him three weeks ago, and Jackson made it official Sunday — without having taken an official visit to campus.

Jackson is coming off of a big junior season, finishing with 56 catches, 1,342 yards and 15 touchdowns. He had recently picked up offers from Indiana and Minnesota, and chose TCU from among eight total offers.

With good size and very quick feet, Jackson has a chance to develop into a really good outside receiver for the Horned Frogs in the future. He is the fourth commit and third offensive commit so far in the class of 2021, joining quarterbacks Trent Battle and Alexander Honig. He is rated as the 15th-best prospect in the state of Oklahoma and a top 150 receiver in the country.

Welcome to the Frog Fam, Chase!
