Welcome back to your one stop shop for all your sports betting needs here at Frogs O’ War. Ryan’s Ramble is riding high after a FOURTH straight winning week and an overall record of 42-34-2 on the season.
College football is as crazy as ever at this point in the season. Just when you think you have a team pinned down, they go and blow a road game to an unranked opponent *cough cough Alabama.*
Everything is nuts, but that’s the beauty of this sport. No matter what you think you know, chances are you’re wrong, and the same applies to sports betting. With that being said, I do my best to at least TRY and do my homework, regardless of how strong Vegas’s odds against me are.
Each week I sort through the games and note down my biggest takeaways and realizations that could potentially be applied towards improving upon my picks in the future. Here’s what we learned in week 6:
What we learned last week:
- Kentucky is a legitimate dark horse
- This is the weakest top 25 we’ve had in a long, long time
- Georgia is the only clear cut playoff team in the country
- Alabama is not unbeatable
- Caleb Williams > Spencer Rattler
- San Jose State’s magic has run out
For more context on each of these talking points, be sure to check out the full length episode on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or YouTube!
As a sports bettor, you have to have confidence, otherwise what’s the point? I’m at that delusional state of the season where I’m convinced I can’t possibly have a losing week.
Cocky? Maybe a tad, but that’s half the fun. Here’s to hoping the sports betting gods are in our favor again for another weekend of college football. Let’s get into my card:
