The Iron Skillet will be serving breakfast

Guess TCU-SMU isn’t moving the needle much this fall.

The Horned Frogs are looking to win back the Iron Skillet this season, and will have the opportunity to take back their rivalry trophy with SMU Football Saturday September 25th... at 11:00am and will be televised on FS1.

Sure, it’s disappointing for this fun rivalry to get the early slot, but as neither team is ranked at this point (despite being a combined 4-0 with a victory over a P5 opponent), so it’s not surprising that the Skillet will be serving up breakfast options in Fort Worth.

The Horned Frogs and Mustangs will be meeting for the 100th time in their series. TCU holds a 51-41-7 edge and has won 11 of the last 13 games and 17 of 20.

TCU has an open date this week and is 2-0 for the 13th time in Gary Patterson’s 21 seasons as head coach.
